RegexTester is a free online tool for regular expression testing. It runs entirely in your browser — no signup, no file uploads, no installation required.

We believe online tools should be simple, fast, and private. Too many "free" tools online require you to create an account, upload your files to their servers, or deal with intrusive ads and popups. We do things differently:

• Privacy first — All processing happens on your device. Your files never leave your browser.
• No signup — Use our tools immediately. No account needed.
• Free forever — All features are free with no hidden costs.
• Open access — Works on any device with a modern browser.

How It Works

RegexTester uses modern web technologies including Canvas API, WebAssembly, and client-side JavaScript to process your data locally. This means:

• Zero server processing cost — we can offer it for free
• No file size limits (limited only by your device's memory)
• Complete privacy — your data stays with you
• Fast processing — no network round-trip delays

Built with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS. Deployed on Vercel. Available in 10 languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic.
